A collection of new features, improvements, and fixes completed in the last month at Red Arc. Major new features will have their own associated changelog post.

New Features 🆕

Letter Box

• Organizations can select the specific timezone they are located in from the Localization tile

• Specific action types can now be set on a per-template basis. (This works for conditional templates too).

• Added the ability to receipt a gift (generate receipt numbers) from the gift tile

Improvements 📈

Letter Box

• Changing and saving settings means that the tile refreshes and shows the updated settings without refreshing the page

• Adjusted wording around some of the Letter Box receipt options to improve clarity

• Added "Check Number" to Personalize fields

• Improved information on the bulk run detail view page for non-constituent records

• Added "Gift Sub Type" to conditional options on conditional templates and auto send letters

• More descriptive messages on gift/constituent tiles when you generate a document successfully, or encounter an error

Marketing Connector

• Improve the speed of the marketing activity sync into Raiser's Edge

Fixes 🔧

Docusign

• Fixed an issue where the Docusign tile would not load correctly for non-primary users

Letter Box

• Fixed bug where "Today's Date" would sometimes be one day off depending on the timezone of the organization, and the time of day when the letter was generated. Inserting "Today's Date" will now insert the organization selected timezone to ensure the date generated is accurate.

• Fixed a bug where deceased or inactive constituent information would not be fetched in bulk runs

• Fixed a bug where letters for non-constituent records would not generate correctly

• Fixed an issue for action category where it would still be "Email" even if the letter could not be sent via email. The action category will now correctly be set as "Email" or "Mailing"

• Fixed a bug that allowed saving templates when the content is empty
